Beautiful Things

Every woman on this planet has a deep longing to feel beautiful. Loved. Wanted. The truth is, we're all beautiful just as we are, created to be unique. Wanted and loved by a God who desperately seeks our returned affection. Only He gives humble confidence to the depths of our souls. Only He has the ability to give us worth. No man, no makeup, no accessory will do. He makes beautiful things. He makes them for us and He makes them through us.

Style & Inspiration

Life is lived in color and texture. It's lived in movement. In song. Across mountains, oceans, and continents – life is vibrant and art resonates. My hope is that my jewelry represents that. A vivid reminder of the beauty in life. In my short years on this earth God has allowed me to travel to places I never expected. Each time I've been inspired by new cultures and reached a deeper understanding of who I am and, more importantly, who God is. His creation astounds me and causes me to reach within myself to make something pleasing in His sight. I am a daughter delighting in her Father, resting in His love and, by His grace, reflecting His image. I was created to create. Nothing in life will give you such fulfillment as doing what you were made to do.

Quality & Construction

Each piece of jewelry is carefully hand crafted with recycled supplies. I take great delight in creating new designs, and reworking old. Personally dying and treating the leather and discovering techniques and materials gives me a connection to the jewelry, a satisfaction in my work, and an excitement to share it with you.

These are but shadows; but the enjoyment of God is the substance. These are but scattered beams; but God is the sun. These are but streams; but God is the fountain. These are but drops, but God is the ocean.
— Jonathan Edwards

"Gaze at God and glance at life."

I recently heard that quote and it stopped me in my tracks. Truly, that's not how I live my life. I gaze at life. I soak it in. It can be a blessing, most definitely, but when my focus is on this life, I can lose sight of Him. When my focus is on the gift I lose sight of the Giver. At the end of my days, I will not praise the mountains or the ocean or the finest of flowers. I will praise their Creator. I will praise my Maker. Until then, I pray that I gaze upon Him and bring glory to His name.

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to Me. Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

-Matthew 11:28-30
